Free helpers: estimate your electricity bill, see how much solar can save you, work out your AC and water costs — and never miss a due date again.
Enter the units on your meter and see a rough bill estimate. Pakistan residential slabs are pre-filled — you can edit the rates.
Rough estimate only, using average rates including common taxes — your actual bill from your company may be higher or lower.
Pick your company and due day — set a reminder that repeats every month.
Set it once — get reminded every month before your due date. The .ics file works with Apple Calendar and Outlook too.
How much does your AC add to the bill? Pick your AC, set the hours — see units and cost per month.
Average figures — an inverter AC slows down once the room cools, so real use over a full night is often lower. Edit the watts if your AC's rating sticker shows a different number.
Thinking of solar? See how many units a system makes each month, what you save, and how fast it pays for itself.
Estimate only — real generation depends on your city, season, panel quality and how much power you use while the sun is up. Edit the cost per kW with a real quote.
How much water does your home use in a month — and what would it cost by tanker?
135 litres per person per day is a common planning figure — real use varies by family. Tanker prices differ by city; edit the rate with your local price.
In most of Pakistan, 1 kW of good solar panels makes about 5 units on an average day. A 5 kW system therefore makes roughly 750 units a month — at Rs 40 per unit that is about Rs 30,000 saved every month, and a typical system pays for itself in around 2 years. Cities, seasons and panel quality change the exact figure, which is why the Solar Calculator above lets you edit every number.
The biggest question on every summer bill: how many units does an AC use? These are the average figures our AC Calculator starts from — inverter ACs use less because they slow down once the room is cool:
| AC size | Inverter — watts (≈ units/hour) | Non-inverter — watts (≈ units/hour) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 ton | ~900 W (≈ 0.9) | ~1,300 W (≈ 1.3) |
| 1.5 ton | ~1,300 W (≈ 1.3) | ~1,900 W (≈ 1.9) |
| 2 ton | ~1,700 W (≈ 1.7) | ~2,500 W (≈ 2.5) |
Planners commonly use about 135 litres per person per day. A family of five therefore uses around 20,000 litres a month — roughly 5,300 gallons. If your home runs on tanker water, the Water Calculator above turns that into a monthly cost at your local tanker rate.
In most of Pakistan a 5 kW system makes about 700–800 units a month. At Rs 40 per unit that is roughly Rs 28,000–32,000 saved every month, so a typical system pays for itself in about 2 years. Try the Solar Calculator above with your own unit rate for a closer figure.
An inverter 1.5 ton AC uses about 1.3 units per hour on average (less once the room is cool); a non-inverter uses about 1.9 units per hour. Run 8 hours a day, that is roughly 310–460 units a month. The AC Calculator above works it out for your AC.
A common planning figure is about 135 litres per person per day, so a family of five uses around 20,000 litres (about 5,300 gallons) a month. The Water Calculator above estimates your home's use and what it would cost by tanker.
Yes, completely free. ChecksBill is a directory: we take you to your utility company's official website, where you view and download your bill. Your account or reference number is entered only on the official site — your bill details never pass through us, and we never charge a fee.
Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. ChecksBill only lists companies whose official website lets you view a bill with just the number printed on your bill — no account login. Where a company only offers bills behind a login (for example PSPCL, Tata Power or Adani Electricity in India, or Meralco, TNB and PLN in Southeast Asia), it is not listed.
It is printed on any previous bill. Electricity bills from LESCO, IESCO, FESCO, MEPCO, PESCO, GEPCO, HESCO, SEPCO and QESCO carry a 14-digit reference number near the top of the bill. K-Electric uses a 13-digit account number. SNGPL uses an 11-digit consumer number, SSGC a 10-digit customer number, and PTCL asks for your phone number together with the Account ID printed on the bill. In India, bills carry a consumer or CA number; in other countries, the account number printed on the bill is what you need — each card above says exactly what to keep ready.
No. ChecksBill is an independent directory and is not affiliated with any utility company. Every "Download Bill" button opens that company's official website in a new tab — always check that the address bar shows the official domain (for example bill.pitc.com.pk, ke.com.pk, mahadiscom.in or dewa.gov.ae) before entering your number.
No — we do not take payments or collect any personal details. After downloading your bill from the official site, you can pay it through your bank's app or any authorised payment channel in your country, using the same reference or account number.
